Just Another Summer Day...

Today we just hung around the house, mainly. We had a few chores to run, Target, dropping off stuff, etc. I feel like I am really starting to learn the ropes around McKinney. I feel much more comfortable driving around and being confident about getting to and from my desired destinations. Anyway, I took the kids out in the summer heat for about 20 minutes today. They both chalked on the sidewalk and rode their bikes around. Jaxon fell off of Faith's little bike and got a nice bruise on his four-head. Poor guy...he's always getting banged up, but he's pretty tough, thankfully! But, don't mess with his heart...he's extremely sensitive. This evening, when Shawn got home, he hopped in the shower, and we headed to San Miguel Mexican Grill. I checked out a website that gave me the best restaurants to go to in McKinney. San Miguel was top on their list for Mexican food. Several people said it was the best in Collin County, so I figured would branch out and try it! Boy, am I sure glad we did, I'm pretty sure that I found my favorite cheese enchiladas...EVER! YUM! Faith kept on pointing to all the Hispanic ladies and saying, "Mommy, there's Dora's mommy." And, before we left, she made sure that she said, "Adios," to every Hispanic person she saw. Dora sure is paying off in her Spanish-speaking skills...LOL! And, like usual, we got stopped by this couple to ask us if Faith and Jaxon were twins. We get that everywhere we go! It's hilarious to me---it's the blonde hair and faces that throw everyone off. You should see their faces when we say that they aren't twins...they frown in dismay wondering what in the world we did! I simply reply to them that they are fourteen and half months apart...we did the back-to-back plan...and, yes, we planned it that way and so did God! I say it just like that, except...I am much more smiley and cordial. I'm really smiling inside, too...I don't get bothered by their curiosity...it just makes me laugh!

Don't mind Faith...check out Jaxon...he's about to bust it!
He's so cute...banged up and all!
Time to go in...those cheeks get red FAST!! And, it was time for a bath...they sat and played in the dirt!
On our way out to dinner...
Dining out at San Miguel's...maybe San Miguel and Casa Miguel are related (J/K)...both have YUMMY cheese enchiladas, though!
And here are my TWINS....no, really, this is a picture I took on 4th of July...I totally see where people might think they are twins...but when they stand up...Faith is WAY taller!!! I think that is what makes me laugh! I guess anything is possible, though!

Yes it DOES bother you, silly! It already bothers me and I haven't birthed this girl yet! I love that you say "it was our plan and God's plan". My tag line is that it took us 5 years to be able to have Kaden and God rewarded our hard work with an additional blessing.

Kaden's HUGE, though. This little girl won't be able to catch up with him... She'll have a great protector :).
