It seems like everytime we tell people that we've moved to McKinney, the first thing they ask us is, "Have you been downtown, yet?" This really heightened my curiousity. So, this morning, me and the kids ventured off to Downtown McKinney. The first stop was a MUST...we went to MOM and POPcorn Company, and we'll definitely make more trips to this place. They have 45 flavors of popcorn and an abundancy of chocolate, candy, homemade fudge, and the old fashioned glass-bottled sodas. We decided to get popcorn, even though everything else was very tempting. We went with caramel popcorn---we are such creatures of habit. It was very yummy, though. After leaving with our popcorn stash, we bumped into a cute little store called Posy Lane. We picked up a cute little personalized mug for Faith, a finger puppet book (The Three Little Bears), and some pom-poms to cheer on Shawn and the McKinney Lion Football program for the upcoming season. The kids had so much fun looking at all the neat stuff in there! There are tons of other stores I want to visit, but it was getting close to Jaxon's nap time. Maybe another day...

Looks like you're having fun adjusting well to McKinney. I'm glad you are liking it. By the way, where are all of yall getting these scrapbook-style layouts?? Everybody's blogs are looking so cute!
