MEGA-POST, PEOPLE!!

Today I walked in to pick the kids up from daycare and noticed that Jaxon made a little picture for me. Normally, this would be a throw-away artifact, but I thought the last comment on the page was really sweet. For those that can't read it, it says, I can say prayer by myself. I have a decorated binder with page protectors that I keep the kids' artwork in. I don't keep everything, though, only things worthy of being kept. If I kept every coloring page...we'd be in BIG trouble.Then I walked over to Faith's classroom. Her teacher, Miss April, handed me a present to give to Faith's grandparents. It's a pen/pencil holder. On the Front it says: Happy Grandparent's Day, Love, Faith 08'. On the sides are her hand prints in green. On the back is says: "Remember this, Love Without Measure." We will be seeing Grandma and Grandpa tomorrow and they will be so excited about their new writing utensil holder!

Today they took the girls in Faith's class to a sample class of Ballet. Miss April said that some of the girls weren't really "into" it, but that Faith LOVED it...she didn't want to leave. So, she handed me an enrollment form just in case I was interested. Needless to say, in addition to Stretch and Grow on Wednesdays (for both Faith and Jaxon), Faith will be in a Ballet class on Fridays. Pre-school seems so close...I guess she should get used to the transition. Her recital will be in the fall and spring, so I will get a taste of just how much she LOVES ballet :)

Today we finally got my SUV back...I was so ready to get rid of the Mustang! Apparently the bearings on my alternator were going bad, which caused my SUV to make the whining sound whenever I accelerated. All I know is that we missed our SUV...you never know what you've got until it's gone!

On our way home, we saw something amazing that you just don't see everyday. A Hot Air Balloon going through the heating process, right in front of our home. Faith kept saying, "Fire mommy, fire" Jaxon said, "Ball!" I would like to go on a hot-air balloon ride one day...guess I'll have to add that to my bucket list. I would love to get a bird's eye view of everything!
