Baby It's Cold Outside...

WOW! I left school right as the bell sounded so that I could get home to see Shawn and Faith. They had a little daddy-daughter day...long story as to how that all transpired, but it was C-C-Cold outside!!! I thought I would take the time to list some things that I LOVE about this kind of weather/season.

1. Snuggling with Shawn and kids in our P.J.'s

2. Memories of NY quickly fill my mind as I remember bundling up for the cold, wintry weather.

3. The smell of firewood is one of my favorite smells. I mean, they could make a "Log Cabin" perfume...okay, maybe that's a little over the edge, but you get the point.

4. Sipping on hot chocolate

5. Cold weather invites the holiday season which, in turn, invites a BREAK from school

6. SNOW--whenever it decides to come in Texas-some years it seems inconceivable.

7. I enjoy making different types of soups and chilis for supper

8. Piping hot bubble baths

9. A new AMERICAN IDOL SEASON

10. Pulling out that Winter Wardrobe


The winter season is not my absolute favorite but I like the change...change can be good for the soul sometimes.
