Block Party

On Saturday the kids and I loaded up the SUV and headed to my mom's house for their 4th Annual Block Party. My mom is one of the coordinators of the big party every year so she's busy hanging up flyers, calling vendors, and making fun preparations for the day. We all had such a great time, there was good food, bounce houses for the kids, chalk lining the sidewalks, drawings for prizes and a live band. I won a shirt, hat and a stainless steel coffee mug in the drawing. I won't be one of those people that say that I never win anything because it seems like every time there is a drawing, me, Shawn, or one of the kids always wins. I think I need to start playing the lottery...LOL! The vendor that was set up in my mom's driveway, Papa Murphy's, was probably the most popular vendor. You can't ever go wrong with pizza and cookies!!! Here are some pictures from the Block Party...
