Happy Halloween!!!
Well, the morning started off with Shawn making Faith and Jaxon some waffles and we added some orange slices to succor the festivities of the day!
Chowing down at the party...
Both kids had little paper sacks and were able to go collect candy from different stations around their school. Here's Faith checking out her loot! When we got home I went through Faith and Jaxon's bags and only kept fruit snacks and teddy grahams...the rest was history! Their little bags weighed more than they did! You'll be surprised to know that these Copeland kids did not do the traditional Trick-or-Treating from door to door. Shawn had a football game and we had family come into town...Unfortunately, we lost by one measly point (that's the second time in district we've lost by one point). I'm glad that we are still going to the playoffs no matter what. We'll probably end up playing Highland Park in the first round!
The cheerleaders had these cute butterfly wings on for Halloween.
Uncle Brendon (Shawn's brother) and Jax at the game.On Saturday we went to the big children's clothing sale at Southfork Hotel in Plano...it's the big talk around this neck of the woods. We bought some clothes for the kids and some Christmas presents for some of my nieces and nephews. On my way back I noticed a Chuy's Mexican Food Restaurant, but it was 9:30 in the morning, so no cars were in sight. When Shawn got home I told him about my findings, so we headed out for a family dinner to Chuy's. Much to our surprise, we read that they won't be open until the end of November! BUMMER! But, at least we know that there is a Chuy's ten minutes from us in Plano and we don't have to travel to Dallas anymore.
Quick pic of me and my boy before heading out...Jaxon had his fourth haircut today...he was in desperate need. Faith sat outside with us while Shawn gave him his haircut. She kept asking for a haircut herself, but the child doesn't understand that she doesn't have much hair to begin with. The hair that she has now is very precious to us ;) So, she took that for what it was worth and started "taking pictures" of Jaxon getting a haircut with my old camera.
Before and After

Faith was telling Jaxon how much she loved his new haircut...man, I hope these two always treat each other nice or is that wishful thinking? Yeah, I know that answer!

They are so sweet together. I hope it is always that way! I sure love my big brothers :)
Bummer about the game...
How'd you get away with throwing out their candy?!? I'm having to ration ours, or Audrey would sit and eat the whole pumpkin full. Too bad we didn't get much chocolate...that's what I was wanting! :)
