Mason's Birthday Party

I can't believe my nephew, Mason, is going to be TEN on Monday! He's getting so big! I am also proud to say, as an English Teacher, that Mason won the fourth grade creative writing contest at his school! We're SUPER proud of him!


The kids really enjoyed spending time with their cousins, aunts/uncles and grandparents!! My sister, Deanna, and her family were a tad bit late. A boulder flew up and busted through their windshield from the workers on the side of the road. Thankfully, they agreed to pay for the windshield, but more importantly, no one was hurt. My sister, B-I-L and niece, Jenna, had a few slivers of glass on them. And, speaking of cars, my brother brought his new car over for everyone to see. It's a Mazda 3. I guess my parents are really into Mazda's because my first car was a Mazda 626. I will say that the thought of my brother driving really FREAKS me out! Here are some pictures from the day!


Here's the birthday boy. He requested that his mother make his cake and asked for a BIG dollar sign to be put on the cake. Can you guess what everyone got him for his birthday? That's right, $$$. He's saving up for a little boat...
