November Date Day...

Shawn and I had our monthly date day in Longview this time around. Grandma Sheryl watched the kiddos for us while we went and saw, Twilight! I chose to do a date day because I was afraid Twilight would be sold out, and, I didn't really want to be in the movie theatre with all the other teeny-boppers. Apparently other people our age had the same plan, because we sat by a lot of the girls that Shawn graduated with from Hallsville...it was a lovely little reunion! Shawn was such a trooper! For those of you who have been keeping up with my blog, you know that I've been waiting very patiently for the movie! I was afraid that it wouldn't be as good as the book, but I totally LOVED it. After the movie, we strolled around in the Longview Mall and had a greasy Cheese-on-a-Stick from the Corn Dog place in the food alley. It felt like we were sixteen again...in Longview, going to the movies, hanging out at the mall, etc. We had a great date, though, and the kids had a great time spending time with their grandma!
