Our Two Little Turkeys...

Today Faith came home talking all about turkeys and asked me if I would make a turkey with her. They must have done a huge lesson on turkeys today with it being so close to Thanksgiving. Shawn picked up the kids today, so I have no clue. So, we got out a few of our art supplies and got to work. I decided that we would make a little turkey using Faith's hand...she chose the main color for the turkey (red) and chose the color of each of her fingers to resemble the feathers. She really wanted a pink (her favorite color) turkey, but red was as close as we got. Oh, and did I mentioned she did NOT want legs on her turkey...go figure!! I guess she's a girl who really knows what she wants and doesn't want :)

Turkey #2, Jaxon, decided he wanted to go poo-poo in the potty. He was so excited about his big accomplishment tonight! Mommy and Daddy were, too! Up until now he was just going pee-pee in the potty. He just wants to be so much like Faith...I guess I can't complain about a 19-month old going to the potty these days.

AGH I am so jealous that Jaxon is telling you he has to potty. We have to ask Logan if he has to go. I hate potty training.

The turkey is adorable! And so is Faith, of course! :) How awesome is it that Jaxon is already starting potty training?! Go Lisa!
