It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year...

What an assiduous but fun weekend we had! Saturday morning we all woke up early to go with Shawn to his appointment in Dallas. We wouldn't normally go with him to his appointment, but the Adolphus Children's parade was about fifteen miles away. The kids had a blast at the parade and they loved the blow-ups and floats that furnished the sky and the streets. Frosty, Santa, Strawberry Shortcake, Max and Barney were some of their favorites.

We picked up some Bueno on the way home and after that, both kids were fast asleep in their beds. Later on that evening we put pajamas on the kids, loaded up in the car once again, made a Starbucks run, and went to the "Mansions of McKinney" to check out the Christmas lights. After about 30-45 minutes of looking, once again, the kids both fell asleep. So, we called it a night. I think we're headed to Highland Park in the next couple of days...I hear lights around there are over the top!!

The reason for the season...
