Daddy-Daughter Date

Shawn and Faith went out on a little date to Braums last night. I dressed her in pajamas so she'd be ready for bed when they got home. They shared a banana split, and in Shawn's words, "Faith really tore it up!" Jaxon was already asleep by the time they got home, so we let Faith watch Braddy sing on American Idol, brushed teeth, read, prayed, and then put her in bed.

I love that Shawn really takes the time to take her out to have special times with just her. He is such a great daddy and I know she thoroughly enjoys that time with just him. Jaxon and I had some good alone time as well. We aqua-doodled and read tons of books. He is doing such a great job putting sentences together and is really becoming a big boy with each day that passes.
