Memorial Day

I love days when there is absolutely nothing planned and you spend it with your family. This was one of those blissful days. We weren't on anyone's agenda except for our own. The morning started with a little family trip to the grocery store--one of our family favorites to do together. Faith and Jaxon had one of their little firsts---we bought them both a brand new pair of skates from Toys R Us, complete with arm and knee pads. We decided to let them practice in the kitchen and on the carpet since they are amateur skaters. They stayed in their skates for quite a while and didn't want to take them off. It was fun watching their little facial expressions during their skating adventure.There's a first time for everything...
After skating was over, we decided to have a little Elefun.
It's fun making cakes with daddy :)
