Today was Faith's first day of swimming lessons for the summer. We are really excited about her lessons this year. Last Summer she took lessons at the YMCA in Rockwall and had a blast. This year, we signed her up for the lessons in the natatorium. These people mean business when it comes to swimming. They guarantee that your child will be able to swim from one side of the pool to the other, or you get ALL of your money back. This is all supposed to happen in a weeks time. Pretty good deal in my opinion. I also like that Faith gets one-on-one time with a swim instructor.
Before we got started, Faith told me that she was going to swim, just like Ariel in The Little Mermaid. I guess she saw this movie at school. She said, "But mommy, I don't have a tail, so I'll just swim with my legs." I told her I thought that would be fabulous.
