My teaching buddies and I have been talking about this day for many, many months as we have been waiting for this day to come. In my opinion this year's top ten were the most talented group of people that I've ever seen in a single season. And, yes, I've faithfully watched every single season. There will definitely be some big shoes to fill in the AI seasons to come. I took a plethora of pictures from the 11th row, so I'll be conservative about the amount I post on here. Some of you are my Facebook friends, anyway, so you can see all of the pictures there. Adam Lambert and his provocative ways on stage are another reason to be conservative, and I will spare you from seeing the grabbing of the crotch and make the microphone look like a penis pictures. Other than that, I was very pleased with the concert and most all of the performances. Each performer got to have their own little mini-show, singing 2-4 songs a piece. It was nice to see each of them in their comfort zone, not worrying about song choice or judge critiques. They all had an amazing repertoire. At the end, they all came together for the conclusion of the concert. My favorites of the night were: Matt Giraud, Anoop Desai, Lil Rounds, and Allison Iraheta.
