A Whale of a Day

Today was the big day of our "cation" as Faith called it. None of us have EVER been to Sea World, so it was such a treat to be able to go. We will definitely be visiting this place again in the future as it was worth every penny and more. We spent nine hours at the park and had a blast! We were thoroughly impressed with all the shows and the kids were absolutely amazed at everything they saw. Shawn and I were in awe of God's creation...words can't even describe. I'll let the pictures do most of the talking...

Clydesdale Horses--they were massive--2,300 lbs!

Here's Faith on her first roller coaster, Shamu's Express...she smiled and laughed the entire ride. We learned that Faith is exactly 38 inches tall, which is how tall a child has to be to ride.

So, I decided to try out my Aquarium setting on the camera. These sharks were pretty scary looking...especially when you see ten or more of them all together.

Viva Show. This was Shawn's favorite...we witnessed acrobats perform on land, sea, and air with beluga whales and pacific white-sided dolphins. Faith is still asking to see her new friends.

Getting ready to watch the Pirates Plunder 3-D Show. Do you like our cool glasses? We also watched The Haunted Lighthouse in 4-D. Wouldn't it be nice if every movie were only fifteen to twenty minutes long---pretty ideal for parents with little ones.

Cool Vibrations Show, and, it was pretty cool and entertaining.

Of course, Believe, was my favorite show starring Shamu-it was breath-taking!
