Ever since Faith entered this world I knew from the get go that she would be a very observant little girl. Family and friends that visited our hospital room made many comments about how she looked around at everything and was just so alert and observant. Three years later, things haven't changed too much. Faith watches everything, I mean, EVERYTHING, that we do. One thing that we remember documenting in her baby book was how she always loved to watch us tie our shoes, and she would often play with our shoe laces. At Faith's school, they are only allowed to wear tennis shoes. So cuter, dress shoes are limited to weekend's only. The other day when I was getting ready, she was playing with one of her shoes. Then, about five minutes later, she came in screaming and hollering, "Mommy, I did it, I did it!" Low and behold, the child had tied her shoe. I was both proud and shocked at the same time, but definitely not surprised. So, needless to say, you can guess what her new favorite thing is to do--she even helps to tie Jaxon's tennis shoes in the morning now. I can't believe how big my baby girl is getting--it's bittersweet.

Here she is before the football game last night with tied shoes done all by herself!!

Holy cow, there are kindergartners whow can't do that! Way to go, Faith!
That is great! I always say that it the toughest thing to teach a child. I can teach them to read but I leave the shoes to mom and dad! Way to go girl!
