This year my family got together at my sister's house in Dallas, and we all had a wonderful time. Faith and Jaxon were totally spoiled, as always, and we're still trying to find places for the bountiful amount of presents they received. I forgot my camera at home (I know some of you are shocked), so I'm very thankful that my sister, Deanna, took some pictures for me. Shawn and I have enjoyed being kids again and playing with all their toys...right alongside with them. Oh, to be a kid again. The last few days have been so much fun and we've enjoyed being together as a family.
Me and my sisters, minus, Maria (she was a bit busy hosting).
Opening gifts...
Faith loves her new Tinkerbell hopscotch rug. The coach in Shawn is now teaching her how to hopscotch using her other foot--it's pretty comical to watch. I remember the fun times I had as a kid playing hopscotch on the playground at school. Someday I'll have to teach her the other variant of hopscotch; escargot. As for Jaxon, he just enjoys hopping around and saying the numbers...there's no rhyme or reason to his patterns. So glad Deanna got a picture of this...Jaxon just held on to this raccoon the entire time. He is seriously a veterinarian in the making...the boy loves any kind of animal!
We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas with their families!!
