This post would not be suffice without talking about the SNOW we had today. This is a rarity in the Lone Star State, and it came at such a perfect time! Of course the kids loved seeing the snow come down, in fact, that's all they talked about for a good while. We didn't get a chance to play in it, because we were at church from 3:45-6P.M., so we're hoping to play in it tomorrow morning. The service was amazing at Prestonwood in Plano, Jack Graham always delivers a great message from his heart. Faith got to sit in big church with us for the first time ever and did a good job; she loved all the music, lights, and candles. We had a pretty busy day, we made a birthday cake for Jesus, did some last minute shopping, and had a nice time at home lounging around before the Christmas Eve service.
Later on, we had a surprise visit from SANTA! Santa brought Faith and Jaxon one present each, and they were so excited to open some brand new puzzles. The kids absolutely LOVE putting puzzles together. The kids said good-bye to Santa AND to Fred the Reindeer. We set out some Cowboy Christmas cookies and some milk for Santa's return tonight, and Shawn read the traditional, The Night Before Christmas. Our book is very special as it was the same one read to Shawn when he was a child.
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a Good Night!!
