The other night we took the kids to see Christmas lights. Last year we went to Highland Park, but decided that the lights were looking pretty good in local McKinney. We love listening to Faith and Jaxon's little, sibling conversations in the back seat. Jaxon would say, "Oh Faith, look at the lights on your side, they're bootiful!" Faith would make sure to point out all the lighted-up Rudolphs and Frosty the Snowmen for Jaxon. We all enjoyed sipping on our Starbucks while gazing at the beautiful lights. Faith and Jaxon each had a kid's hot chocolate (with a side of ice cubes), and downed it in three minutes flat. Several houses had the big, Jesus is the Reason for the Season sign, which is always a great reminder of the true meaning behind Christmas.

You are such a great mom, Lisa! I love Faith's crossed-eyes as she drinks her Starbucks. I used to love doing this when Ryan was little. We did the Starbucks too-- he always felt so special with his hot choc (haha).
