Easter 2010

We hope everyone had an amazing Easter and rejoiced along with us as we celebrated our Risen Savior! Our morning started out with making Resurrection Rolls, and the process was both educational and yummy! After we devoured our rolls, we finished the last story that went along with both the Resurrection Eggs and our countdown calendar for Easter. We didn't do the traditional Easter ensemble with the bright and beautiful pastel colors, which was a good thing since Shawn's wardrobe exists of maybe two colors. The Easter service was beautiful and I realized that even though I've heard the Easter story all of my life; there is always something new that I pick up and ponder on.

The kids wanted to hold marshmallow Jesus.

I always enjoy watching the kids open the last egg...their expressions are priceless! The tomb is empty--He is alive!!

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In His great mercy He has given us new life and a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 1:3

Sweet kiddos! Isn't this age the best!!! It is wonderful that you spend so much "quality" time devoted to what really matters. I love that about you and your kids will forever cherish it too!
