Celebrate, Remember, Fight back. I can't even begin to tell you how incredibly honoring it was to be apart of my school's Relay for Life team this year. Our team raised $3,500 dollars for such an admirable cause. Thousands of people are diagnosed with some form of cancer, and thousands of people die each day. Perhaps the most emotional and encouraging part of the evening was watching all the cancer survivors walk their survivor lap. It was very moving to know that there is a story of hope and perseverance behind all of their smiles. I don't know how I will leave this earth one day, but I can only hope that I finish the race strong and victorious.
