Have I told you about Jaxon's special talent since he's been a baby? Whenever he just wants some alone time with me, he makes himself run fever for about twenty minutes, watches his teacher call me to pick him up, and then it's all fun and games after that. No more fever as soon as I pick him up, no fever for the rest of the day, or the next day when I stay at home with him to respect the 24-hour, fever-free rule, and then off to school he goes the following day. Of course I am ALWAYS thankful that his sickness was nothing more than a twenty-minute fever, but I also know that my boy likes to play tricks. All of this to say, I got to spend some quality time with my little man on Tuesday. We put together puzzles, worked on our patterns and alphabet, played with all his cars...and the list goes on and on. What a wonderful day we had together. And, did I mention that I loved wearing my P.J.'s all day long and didn't have to worry about having to fix my hair or put on make-up. Ah, a little taste of summer.
