Thursday evening, my sister and her two kids came to spend the night. On Friday morning we all woke up, ate donuts, and headed to HF. The kids had a blast with cousins, Mason and Marilyn. Both my niece and nephew are so motherly to our kids. We spent the bulk of our time in the kid area and in the lazy river. Faith is definitely my risk-taker, never looking back, while Jaxon assesses the situation at hand and is very cautious. It took Jaxon about thirty minutes of watching the other kids, including Faith and his cousins, to convince himself that he'd be okay riding down the slides all by himself. But, when he finally did, he was grinning from ear to ear. Faith had so much fun as well, sliding down backwards and racing Marilyn down the different slides. Mason and my sister rode the Half Pint because they don't have that ride at the Mansfield HF...they said it was definitely worth the 20-minute wait. After being there for about three hours, we decided to head home because my other two sisters were on their way over for our sister date night that evening. We hope to go back to HF very soon!!
