Every year we get together with a special group of friends in Greenville to bring in the new year and celebrate the 4th of July. If you know anything about me, you know that I love traditions, and this is one we enjoy each and every year. We met over the Bookout's house for grilled hamburgers and hotdogs, and the kids were so excited that they didn't even want to eat; they just wanted to play. At 8:30, we loaded up the kids for VIP seating and fireworks--knowing certain coaches has its perks as our view was perfect from the Greenville Lion stands. After a wonderful show, we headed back to the Bookouts for some free entertainment. The kids took turns on the Wii playing Just Dance...we had four Wii remotes synched together and watching the kids was hilarious.
