We rarely go to the movies with the kids anymore because it's hard to find a trustworthy movie for children these days. On top of that, none of them are really rated G. I consult pluggedin.com quite frequently, so when I saw that Winnie the Pooh coming and that it was rated G; I knew we had to jump on that!
Jaxon brought his naked (couldn't find his red shirt), Winnie the Pooh, for the exciting event. And when the movie concluded, there was all sorts of conversations coming from the backseat about honey and bees. The next day, we went to the local health food store and bought some raw honey and had peanut butter and honey sandwiches for lunch! Jaxon even gave Pooh some of his specially made "honey." That evening we read in our Pooh books before bed, and even had a brief lesson over the parts of a bee...it's the school teacher in me, I guess! I'm POOH-ped! :)
