House Building Weeks 14-15

It seems like FOREVER since I've posted about our house! My husband has asked me to refrain from putting pics up for several reasons, so you'll just have to use your imagination for now, or come over sometime soon, as we'll be moving in, we think, the last week of THIS month. Can you believe it...3.5 months is all it took! All glory goes to God!

-Our tile throughout the house is complete
-Cabinets are stained and complete
-Banister was also stained and complete
-A/C Units were delivered and installed
-We finally have a drive-way, complete with a basketball court (not regulation-size or anything...just something big enough for some b-ball action).
-Shawn also installed our permanent doors, and we gave our stand-in doors to Habitat for Humanity, along with some unused wood.

What's to come:

-The entire house will be painted this week.
-We'll call in the plumber and electrician so they can complete their check-list.
-Granite countertops will be put in along with the drop-in sink
-Cultured marble will be installed, as well

We're almost DONE!!!
