What a beautiful labor day filled with lots of fun and some family time! Shawn had to work for a couple of hours (I know, football practice on LABOR day), so we met up with my team from school and their kids to go fishing. It was a lot of fun, even though we didn't catch anything. My competitive, little Faith decided that she was going to be upset because we didn't catch a single fish. I talked to her about how sometimes you fish and catch something, and other times you JUST fish...that's it! I'm not sure if that sunk in, but it was the best I could think of at the time. Hopefully we'll reel her in a big ole' fish sometime soon. Jaxon didn't care about catching any fish...he spotted a turtle and was bound and determined to catch it, but, he had the same luck as his sister today. The Kenealey kiddos were the stars of the pond today, catching several fish...even some big ones!! At least my kids got to see what happens when you actually catch a fish!
