Oh what a fun, family night we had with this gingerbread house. Shawn assembled the house with the icing and the kids went to town decorating. When we went to move the house from the island to the table and it collapsed. Shawn and I thought it was pretty funny, but the kids feared they wouldn't get to decorate. Shawn had a redo and everything went smoothly from there. Faith was all about making random patterns with her candy, while Jaxon concentrated more on filling the parameter of his side with as many candies as possible. It was funny listening to their strategic plans and watching them come to fruition.
Matthew 7:24 has been one of our family verses in the past and is one of our favorite songs on our worship CD...it was very fitting for the evening.
Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. Matthew 7:24
