Roadtrip to Disney

I can't tell you how much excitement filled our house and vehicle as we left Texas with a roadtrip ahead of us to Disney.  Shawn had a workshop at the Reunion Tower in Dallas, so the kids and I spent time with Aunt Gina and Cousin Mason and Marilyn before picking him up.  We had a fun time with them, but the kids were anxious to get on the road, so we left early and literally sat in the parking lot waiting for Shawn...we were willing to sit there for a while...that's how excited we were!         Once he got in the car there were giggles and laughs of pure excitement.

The kids did so great in the car.  I had two clothespins with their name clamped on the visor and told both kids that if there was no complaining, no arguing, and no tearing-down talk, that each time we crossed a State border; they would get a surprise.  Bribe?  Yes!  Peaceful car?  YES!
