Faith brought her first packet of homework home this week. I don't know why it never registered in my head, but for every english assignment, she duplicates it, but it's in spanish. It totally makes sense, so this sweet girl has double the homework of her peers, in addition to reading assignments. We aren't complaining though, because we know this will all pay off when she's totally bilingual when exiting the fifth grade, or so the research shows.
The first part of the packet contains the spelling words for the week...she has ten english, ten spanish. She took both tests this week and aced them both!! So proud of my little first grader.
