Disciple Now

This is literally the best weekend of the year for the youth group at our church.  This year, we signed up to be a host home, but they felt 15 minutes away from McKinney was a little too far for some of the activities they were doing.  We got a call about a week before DNOW and we were asked to participate in a surprise for the kids...they wouldn't tell us what we were doing.  We got to the church today and learned that we would be participating in an Amazing Race Scavenger Hunt.  There were 72 groups total and each group would read clues and drive all over McKinney to receive their next clues.  Shawn and Faith were stationed at Chestnut Square in Downtown McKinney, and I was to be stationed at La Madeline (South McKinney).  We were given our envelopes and flags, and off we went...I dropped off Shawn and Faith, and Jaxon came with me.  He was very tired so he got to see all the action from the SUV while nibbling on cookies from LaM, and coloring.  What a great kick-off to our Thanksgiving holiday, when all was said and done, we headed straight to Longview immediately afterwards.
