This was Faith's first-ever friend party...she was so excited. In the past, we'd always had our huge family come over, but this year, Faith was ready for friends to come over. Our first plan failed due to weather...we arranged for a horse (a surprise to Faith) to come over so all the girls could have a horse rides, we were going to set up targets for a bow-n-arrow shoot, it would have been a fun day outside. The weather went from sunny, to cloudy, to overcast with few showers, to thunderstorms of 30 and 50 percent chances of rain. So, I quickly incorporated Plan B--Brave movie and popcorn with some indoor activities, complete with a hot chocolate bar.
Girls are so sweet, especially these girls, they would scream, "ahhhhhh," at all the scary parts, and giggle at all the funny parts. We moms just hung out in the kitchen chatting it up. Faith doesn't like cake, at all, so we did brownies and ice cream. She got several Merida dolls, Angus (Merida's horse) a birthday Barbie, Lego Friends for girls, chapsticks, stickers, sweet birthday cards, and the list goes on and on.
What a successful and fun party--Faith is already planning her next party, mom and dad, on the other hand, are not ready for her to turn eight AT ALL! :)

Jaxon stayed in his room for almost the entire party...there was no way he wanted to be around all those girls. Shawn hung out with him, too. |

Faith got extremely embarrassed when everyone started singing, Happy Birthday to her. |
