This weekend we headed down the biggest coaching clinic in the State of Texas, in hopes to talk to coaches face-to-face about, A Football Journey. It winded up being a good weekend, and we keep reminding ourselves that this is our first year...things can only go up from here. I am so proud of the men Shawn and Darrick are, they have a passion for youth that is very hard to find in coaches these days. I know the fruit of their labor will impact many, many lives. While the guys were out manning the booth, Brittany and I took the kids here and there around San Angelo, we went to the library and to the park one day. Each day we brought the guys lunch and checked in with them. When they got home each night, it was nice to just go and have a nice dinner--no cooking for us on this trip.
