San Diego-Day 3

Today was our last day of fun and sight-seeing.  After breakfast, we hopped aboard on the USS Midway.  This ship was around during the Cold War and WWII...there was some pretty amazing history on this boat.  It made me so thankful for the brave and courageous men and women that have served and continue to serve our nation.

After the tour, we went aboard the Spirit of San Diego for a cruise around the San Diego Bay. The sights were absolutely breathtaking and we loved seeing the seals sunbathe.  San Diego is such a beautiful city with great weather.
After lunch at Escape and rest time at the hotel, we made our way to Birchman Aquarium.  It was a beautiful aquarium full of lots of things to do!

For dinner, we traveled Downtown San Diego to eat at Cafe Coyote and Cantina...it was recommended and had even been featured on some of the Food Network shows.  Unfortunately, it was some of the WORST Mexican food we'd ever eaten.  It's okay, though, because we ended dinner with ice cream at Korky's..ice cream always makes it better, right? All in all, the trip was so much fun, we made memories here that will last us a lifetime!!
Until we meet again, San Diego, it's been fun!!!
