The Great Pumpkin Patch Express

Last Christmas we did rode the Polar Express at the Palestine Depot, and the kids had a magical time. So, we decided to give the Texas State Railroad's new ride a try. Elanna and I took our kids to the Rusk Depot for an exciting, Halloween adventure. On the way to the depot, the kids fell asleep and woke up just minutes away from our destination. After a quick restroom break and dressing our kids up in their Halloween costumes; we were ready to pick up our tickets and hop aboard. On the way to the pumpkin patch, all the kids got to listen to Charles Shultz', The Great Pumpkin. Shortly after the story was over, we pulled up to the patch. The train dropped us off for a little over an hour. There was so much to do but we never got around to doing everything. I think we got to most of the good stuff, though. There was an actual corn maze and hay ride, but our kids were excited about everything else going on around them. We got two pumpkins to carve from the pumpkin patch, the kids got their face painted, got to pet many, different animals, went on the roller slide, played in the corn box, listened to a mini-concert (Faith and Jaxon actually sung on stage), went trick-or-treating in the little houses, etc. I asked Faith and Jaxon what their favorite part of the days was. Faith: Seeing and taking a picture with Snow White. Jaxon: Riding on the Choo-Choo Train. What an exciting day!!
My sweet girl decided to be Tinkerbell this year. And, yes, she actually has wings, but you can't see them. The company that we ordered from had a picture that was very deceiving and really embellished on the wings. Nice! Thankfully, Faith didn't seem to care.

And, who's Tinkerbell without Peter Pan. Jaxon was very excited about his sword!
Peter Pan and Tinkerbell
Two Tinkerbells, a Southern Belle, Peter Pan, and a Transformer...all super excited!
First, and probably last, picture with a Disney Princess.
