Tonight was an exciting night for me. Several of my college friends and I got together in Greenville, Texas to start the beginning stages of our BSM Alumni Banquet. The BSM (Baptist Student Ministry) will forever be carved on my heart, and all the great memories will never fade. It was there that I made many friends that will last a lifetime. It was there that the Lord worked through me to lead a friend through the salvation process. It was there that I learned how to be decisive and diplomatic as the President of an organization on campus. It was there that I learned what it truly meant to be a servant, and to truly do things for God's glory and not my own. I could blog for hours on how the BSM changed my spiritual life. We still have quite a bit of planning to do, but made a huge dent this evening. Can't wait until all our ideas come to fruition on March 5, 2011.
