What a fun evening Shawn and I had tonight! We went with my assistant principal and his wife (who also teaches with me) to the banquet this year. Dr. Waite and Lisa are both sponsors of the Coaches Outreach Organization, and because of their gracious giving; they let people like Shawn and I go on our marriage conference each summer for a fraction of the actual cost. This summer's conference to Lake DeGray will be our eighth conference we've been on, and each and every one of them have been a true blessing to our marriage.
Tonight's keynote speaker was former Air Force pilot and Dallas Cowboy, Chad Hennings. Both Shawn and I heard him speak when he came to our college several years ago, but it's always great to hear him speak. He always leaves great challenges and pieces of advice.
