I never imagined my children being in karate. I always thought we'd be watching our kids at these ages playing football (Jaxon), basketball, baseball or even soccer--especially with Shawn being a coach. A couple of years ago, my coach husband informed me that he truly was not a huge advocate of little league sports at all. I won't discuss his reasons on here, although he makes valid arguments for sure.
So, I guess we'll be watching them do what they do when they're much older. With that said, Shawn was very interested in getting them into karate. Faith and Jaxon have been taking karate for almost a month now. Shawn typically takes them every Tuesday and Thursday, but today I got to take them. Watching them totally cracks me up, but they seem to really enjoy it. Shawn is very dedicated to working with them at home, so I'm entertained quite a bit these days. Here are my white belt karate kids!
