Shawn and I have been trying to be more intentional about taking our kids on one-on-one dates. Tonight, I took Jaxon to the basketball boys last game. Even though it didn't keep his interest the entire time, we had great conversation and enjoyed spending time together. It made him feel special that he got to stay up past his bedtime, too. We also shared our favorite candy, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
