SIX FLAGS! The kids have never been to SF so we surprised them with a little road trip. It was opening weekend and their 50th anniversary so tickets were super cheap. Shawn thought it would be packed, but I disagreed thinking that everyone would be going there for Spring Break. And, I was right, if we had to wait for a ride; it was no more than five minutes. The weather was absolutely beautiful and best of all the kids had so much fun! They've both deemed SF one of their favorite places to be! We rode about twenty-five rides, total, but their favorite rides included: El Sombrero, The Conquistador, El Aserradero, Mini Mine Train, and Yosemite Sam's Gold River Adventure. The El Sombrero was the first ride we rode and the kids laughed uncontrollably and smiled the entire time. Next, we rode The Conquistador--Faith wasn't a huge fan and Jaxon was a huge fan until he saw that his sister wasn't. At the end of the day, we made our way back to The Conquistador because Faith said she wanted to be brave and not cry...they both did much better the second time around. We loved hanging out in Gotham City, and Jaxon spotted all the Batman gear. Someone is having a Batman party in a couple of weeks, so we snatched up a Batman cape for our little, superhero. Faith drove us around the buggy car path, and the kids got to meet Tweety and Porky the Pig. We didn't get to meet Bugs Bunny, but we saw him do the chicken dance on the big stage. What a wonderful day---THAT'S ALL FOLKS!!
