A couple of weekends ago our church put on this MASS garage sale for the community of McKinney. Everything was FREE. We cancelled our normal church services so that the weekend would be focused on serving the Lord through serving others. Shawn and I knew this was definitely something we wanted to get the kids involved in as well. On Friday evening, the kids and I were in charge of the toy section. Our task was to sort every toy, game, puzzle, etc, and make things presentable and easy to find for the shoppers. This was very easy for me and my OCD kids. I would hand different things to Faith and Jaxon and they got to work putting it on the tables assigned to us. Shawn was busy unloading items from the drop-off crews. We did the exact, same thing on Saturday. On Sunday, people were blessed and elated...most could not believe that everything they got their hands on was FREE. It was such a great weekend to serve with our immediate and church family.
