Valentine's Day 2012

Our lovely morning started out with some yummy, heart-shaped, cinnamon rolls

Faith was so excited to hand out her valentines to her friends this year.

Jaxon was SUPER excited to hand his out, as well!

Headed out the door and ready for V-day parties.

She spent all that time spreading the icing on her cookie and the girl hates icing on anything!

It seems as if every major event in our lives happens when it's cold and windy outside--Our anniversary, our birthdays, etc.  So, I decided that Shawn and I would have a picnic by the fire.  We cooked up the kid's food first and had them sit at the table, while we had an adult dinner at the fireplace.  This was our FIRST time to use our fireplace.  The menu for the evening was roasted hotdogs, chips, and s'mores.  Everything turned out so yummy!!  Shawn really loved the surprise!  Shawn got me a beautiful ring that I've only seen on the internet, because there was a delay, so we're watching for the UPS truck these days.
