Jaxon is FIVE

I can't believe our little buddy is five-years old today, and I can't believe he's starting Kindergarten in August!  Time goes by crazy fast!  

Last night as a four-year old

What is your favorite thing to do outside? Pick up rocks (fossils) and plant seeds

What is your favorite snack? Fruit

Our morning started out with yummy, birthday donuts and a birthday celebration...

I took the day off and brought Jaxon Chick-Fil-A at school, and all his friends shared some birthday cupcakes.

Later on that night Jaxon wanted to go to "The Peanut Place," known as Texas Roadhouse.

When we got home we prepared a little scavenger hunt for Jaxon, just like we did for Faith when she turned five.  He had to put on his paleontologist hat and  was instructed to follow the dinosaurs to find his smaller presents, since we took him to Medievel Times during Spring Break.

Jaxon received a lot of birthday money...here's the big thing he bought for he and daddy to play with!

Each year we take a picture of Jaxon in his daddy's letter jacket...these have been so fun to look back on through the years...one day he'll actually fit perfectly into this jacket.



Dear Jaxon,

Happy Fifth birthday, sweet boy.  We're so glad you still love to cuddle with us.  You come up with the best ideas and love to create and build different things.  You are so excited to be a kindergartener next year, and you're growing up way too fast.  You love play fighting, shooting, and wrestling...you are definitely ALL BOY!  We love you, Daddy and Mommy
