Moving to McKinney...

This move is bittersweet. I am excited to start a new journey in our lives, but at the same time it will be hard to leave the "norm." Sometimes God moves us from our comfort zones so that He can accomplish His Will in our lives. I have such a huge peace about moving to McKinney, and things worked out so perfectly. God wants us in McKinney and while I don't have all the answers, I know that He does.

What will I miss the most?
-Our Church

-Our ABF
-Our Friends
-Hartman Elementary
-Wednesday Nights with the Girls
-Playdates
-The Harbor
-Lake Ray Hubbard

I will never forget Dr. Gillian, my wonderful nurses, and Lake Pointe Medical Center...can't believe how big my babies are getting!
I'm gonna miss this place, too, the staff was the best I could have asked for. I know Faith and Jaxon will miss their friends, as well.

And the list goes on and on. Luckily, McKinney is not too far away from Rockwall and I can come and go as I please. Gas WON'T stop me :) Lake Lewisville is about 20-25 minutes away, and we plan on trying out Charles (Chuck) Swindoll's church in Frisco. You can't go wrong with him...he is absolutely amazing, and I've been listening to him with my family since as far as I can remember.

McKinney has come such a long way, as many cities have. There is every restaurant imaginable and they have a mini-Canton every third weekend! I'm sure you will see pictures posted to our outings there. There is also a really neat museum that I have heard great things about, and I know the kids will have a ball. So, here closes a chapter in our lives...with a new chapter ahead to unfold.

One's destination is never a place, but rather a new way of looking at things. -Henry Miller
