Summer is Officially Here...

Today marked another school year gone. Yesterday, I had a really rough time saying good-bye to my sixth graders, who are now, officially, seventh graders. I am feeling much better today, but I will still think of them often. As I am looking at my calendar for this summer; I'm thinking that it's going to go by in a blink of an eye. I told some of my friends that I think I needed to eliminate some events off of my calendar to free up some time, but I am totally indecisive. I'm to the point now where I am asking myself, what needs to be a priority? There are some summer plans that I am really excited about, though. For example, taking Faith to swimming lessons next week for the first time, introducing Jaxon to PlayWisely class for the first time, the possible cruise to the Bahamas with my sister, the family vacation, me and Shawn's annual Marriage Conference, SOS's with the Bible study girls, and the list could go on forever!! Oh well, I may just have to play things by ear and be spontaneous at times. Whatever happens this summer--it's gonna be a good one :) Happy Summer to all my friends!!!

They came up on Friday to help me in my room--so sweet!

This was a random picture I took after our "Leaving a Legacy" night with Marsha Mason. I came in and gave Faith and Jaxon a kiss good-night thanking God for blessing me with these precious babies. Faith was sleeping on her belly, so I didn't get a good picture of her, but just look at Jaxon, he doesn't have a care in the world. Oh to be a baby again :)

Hi there,
I have a question ... how did you get the little piece of fabric out of the sippy cup? My son got one as a gift and I wasn't aware that it came out. Do tell...
By the way, I love your blog. You have such a darling family. You need to come over to the North side so my boys can have you as a teacher! :)

Oh my gosh! Are you at Hartman? I just assumed since hubby taught at Heath that you were over there too ... My little guy starts kindergarten at Hartman in the fall. My daughter went all the way through at Nebbie, so I feel like I'm starting all over. It will be nice to know someone ... even if it is from "blog-world".
