All Settled In...

We made it all in one piece to the town of good old McKinney. We moved in last Friday and set EVERYTHING up. I can't go to sleep knowing there is work to do! Upon our arrival we found a welcoming little bird nest just above our door. Faith and Jaxon did a great job sleeping in their new room, and Faith never regressed in her potty training--YAY! We finally got internet access today, and I'm glad to be back into the blogging world. So far, since we've been here, we've just been scoping out the area and getting our bearings straight. The kids have enjoyed swimming at the country club where we live, and they love the park. It's so peaceful and relaxing out there! We're headed to Longview to bring in the fourth with some dear friends of ours, and then to some birthday parties on Saturday. It will be nice to get away for a short while. We are looking forward to our marriage conference the weekend after next, and then, our BIG family vacation the following week!

Shawn and Kevin on moving day--might I add that neither of them went to SMU! If you look closely, you can see all that sweat from the moving process!

The precious bird family that welcomed us...
One of the many beautiful parks in McKinney
You can even rent paddle boats there...
Swimming at the country club...Faith loves to jump off the side!
Shawn taught her to say CANNONBALL as she jumps!

A couple of days ago, Faith asked to play with some playdough. I could not remember where I put ours after moving in, so we made some from scratch. I never realized how much entertainment a cup of flour, a half cup of salt, and a half cup of water could do. Why we buy toys...I have no clue...it's the simple things that they LOVE the most!
