I can't believe it's the first day of October...time goes by so fast in all the hustle and bustle of busyness. I was at the Christian Book Store the other day and picked up this book for Faith and Jaxon. It's called The Pumpkin Gospel by Mary Manz Simon. What an innovative way to share how God transforms us into new creations to live for him. Also, the book glows in the dark...and the story can be retold each year as you and your children clean and carve their own pumpkin. On each page there is a scripture to go along with the process of pumpkin carving. I'm very excited about sharing the story and carving pumpkins this year. Just for kicks...I've also posted Faith and Jaxon's pumpkins from last year.
Faith's pumpkin from last year...she requested a bow to be in her pumpkin's "hair."

Your pumpkins are fancy...I just draw a face on ours with a Sharpie!
I can't wait to see what this years look like. Love the bow, I'm a sucker for girlie things :)
Seriously... You are so crafty! Such a teacher, I guess you could say... I see stuff all the time, but half the time I'm not motivated to try it.
Just like this cotton field I pass every day on the way to take Maddie to school. I think about stopping and teaching her what it is, but never have. I need to slow down and do the little things because they are definitely the things that matter the most!
These pumpkins are impressive! Wow!
