That's right...McKinney High School's Homecoming is on a Thursday this year. I'm not sure why, but the schedule was made last year, so there's no turning back. The kids did so well at last week's football game, that my fear of doing it "on my own" is starting to drift way. Faith and Jaxon cheered, ate and colored the entire game (well, Jaxon fell asleep is Miss Laurie's arms during fourth quarter), but he was a real trooper. I came across this picture of Faith, me and another mommy made our kiddos Homecoming King and Queen..both of their daddies were football coaches, so we thought it was necessary ;) Faith is only nine months in this picture below.

Fruit snacks and crackers are ALWAYS a good thing to bring along to a football game!
The kids did a pretty good job tonight...we only managed to graffiti a small part of the bleechers and the back of another fan's shirt! We LOST 65-64...What a HUGE BUMMER! But, we did set some Texas High School Football Records, but not ones to be the most proud about.
-This was the Sixth highest scoring game in Texas High School Football History
-This was also the Second highest scoring game for a LOSING Team in Texas High School Football History

I bet it was strange having it on Thursday. You guys looked all decked out and I know they cheered on daddy. WOW, that's a lot of points, and so sad you lost. Maybe it will be a big win this week!
