Goodbye 2008, Hello 2009

It's hard to believe this year has come and now it's practically gone..I'm not a big fan of making New Year's Resolutions so you don't have to worry about reading any of those :)

2008 in review-I picked EIGHT things that I've enjoyed and been blessed with this year.

1. The continued growth in my relationship with Jesus Christ

2. Celebrating another year with my beloved, Shawn, and growing closer with him.

3. Watching our sweet babies (Faith and Jaxon) grow and develop their own dispositions.

4. Having a blast with family and friends (Also, I saw/talked to so many friends from the past).

5. My awesome new teaching job in McKinney

6. The McKinney Lion football season

7. Paying off several things

8. I've read some pretty good books this year that were very thought-provoking and inspiring.

NINE things I'm looking forward to in 2009~

1-4 in the list above are pretty much the same

5. My trip to see Ron Clark at the beginning of February

6. Holidays, birthdays, banquets and celebrations

7. Family trips and vacations

8. The seasons of American Idol and Bachelor/Bachelorette (Yes, I'm a nerd).

9. The open and closed doors that the Lord will provide in our lives this year
