New Year's Eve started off with our little family going to Greenville. We had lunch at TaMolly's with our good friends, Kevin and Laurie. After lunch we exchanged Christmas gifts and gave the kiddos a nap, as we knew the night would be longer than they're used to. The kids slept from three until almost six o' clock. Kevin and Laurie do a great job of setting up their Christmas Village and the kids just loved looking at it this year (see video below). Of course, they would have loved to touch everything in sight, but we were very adamant about them not touching ANYTHING! After the kids woke up we headed over to the Bookout's house for our traditional New Year's get together! The Hylander family also joined us for dinner. We had so much fun watching all the kids play together, and we even played the Wii for part of the night. We've got to get one of those--we had a blast! We left their house at about 11:15 and pulled in to McKinney just in time to catch fireworks and wish each other a big Happy New Year's!! Thank you Jesus for another year to look forward to!!
More Christmas presents--I've been really good this year!!
